I’ve loved photography for as long as I can remember. My first camera was a hot pink 110 film camera that I received as a gift in the early 80′s. I took pictures of everything and everyone- the cats, the dog, my family…the sidewalk. Almost 20 years and many cameras later, I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Kansas City Art Institute with a double major in Photography and Art History. After my son Jacob was born, I discovered a new and different love for photography and capturing life’s little moments.
I am a wife to my husband of 5 years, Todd (aka: Toddy, Hon), a mother to our amazing almost 4 year old son, Jacob (aka: Jake, Monkey, Monks and Doodle) and our beautiful almost 1 year old son, Ryan (aka: Rino-the-Dino). We share our home with our 80 lb. mutt, Simon and crazy kitty, Trixie.

If it weren’t for DVR I would never get to watch TV.
If I had to choose one type of food to eat every day for the rest of my life it would be Mexican food.
Reading and napping are two of my favorite things to do, though I rarely have time for it.
Traveling is a must in my life. I’ve been to 31 US states, Canada and Mexico. I hope to go to Italy someday!
